  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • Pot of water

Method
 

  1. Crack the egg into a small bowl.
  2. Bring a medium pot of water to a gentle boil. Add the vinegar and stir the water so that it moves in a circular motion.
  3. Gently drop the egg into the water, give the water one more gentle stir, and cook 3 1/2 to 4 minutes.
  4. Scoop the egg out with a slotted spoon and test for doneness, and serve.
