How to Make Almond Milk
Amy
Making almond milk at home is a creamy, dreamy experience that’s simpler than you might think. In just 10 minutes, you can whip up a silky-smooth drink that’s free from additives and bursting with natural nutty sweetness.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
- 1 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight
- 3½ cups filtered water
- Optional sweetener
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Combine the almonds and water in a blender and blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until creamy.
Place a nut milk bag over a large bowl and strain the milk, squeezing out as much liquid as you can.
Add the maple syrup and vanilla, if desired.
